Sustainability Victoria
Visit websiteEstablished under the Sustainability Victoria Act 2005, Sustainability Victoria (SV) is a statutory authority with a board appointed by the Victorian Minister for Environment and Climate Change. One of SV’s core statutory objectives is to facilitate and promote environmental sustainability in the use of resources, with an aim to mobilise Victorians to create a better environment, now and for our future.
SV is actively involved in product stewardship initiatives for a range of priority products and materials, engaging broadly across community, industry, academia, local, state and federal governments to create a vision of what’s possible in Australia under a more circular system. SV seeks to address a range of challenges to realise the full economic value of resource recovery opportunities, while protecting the environment, community amenity and public health.
